All too soon, the music vanished, the light faded and to Catty's surprise, she was falling through the air. She let out a small gasp as she landed bluntly in the pool of water in the flume cave of Cloral.
It was a good thing that Catty was a good swimmer, for the pool was deep, dragging at her clothes as she fought for the surface. Breaking free in a set of swift, dancing ripples, Catty drew in a deep breath before looking around for a stone edge where she could haul her sopping wet self up. About ten feet to her left was the side of the pool, and with a quick smile, Catty ducked underwater and swam like a fish to her destination.
After pulling herself strongly from the water, Catty finally took a glance at her surroundings. The pool was large, larger then it looked while she was in it. It was placed with care in the exact middle of a large, beautifully bare cavern. A small pile of Cloral style clothing was set in the corner of the cavern, far enough away from the water so that it wouldn't get wet when the traveler made their appearance. Shivering slightly, Catty stood from her position at the side of the pool and wandered to the clothes, pulling her hair back in an untidy pony as she did. Before she undressed to fit in with the busy life of Cloral, she took another look around, thinking to herself.
So why did I have to come here?
